Heart of Virginia Community Band presents Christmas Music on the Plaza

The Heart of Virginia Community Band will be performing holiday music on the Plaza where High Bridge Trail crosses Main Street, Farmville. Members of the community make up the band members, and one of their missions is to provide music for community occasions. After the event is a great time to meet the band members, find out about future performances, and apply to join the band.

This cultural program will hearken back to a time when many towns had brass bands which provided the soundtrack for people's lives in those long-ago days. The Farmville area has such a band today.
