Holiday Pictures in the Park

Bring the whole family out to James River State Park for a festive Holiday Photo Opportunity with this year's theme: Cozy Winter Lodge! Whether you show up in your ugliest holiday sweater, your fanciest seasonal attire, or your favorite park outfit, you'll have the perfect backdrop for memorable holiday photos. After the event, we'll email your pictures so you can use them for Christmas cards, gifts, or scrapbooks.

Sessions are by registration only, with 10-minute appointments available between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. There is a fee of $10 per 10 minute session. Please call 434-933-8527 to pay ahead of time and reserve your spot. If you would like to book multiple sessions, or would like to request a session outside of these hours, let us know upon registration and we will work to accommodate your request. 

Please meet at the Visitor Center. All materials provided. Suitable for all ages. Parks are for everyone, please let us know if you need special accommodation.
