መግለጫ፦	A $150,000 grant was awarded to the Central Virginia Battlefields Trust for assistance in acquiring 11.2 acres within the City of Fredericksburg, which was the scene of intense fighting during the Battle of Chancellorsville. The parcel was threatened by intense development with the pending extension of Cowan Boulevard. The property is to be developed for public access with an interpretive trail and is now owned by Fredericksburg with an open-space easement held by the Department of Conservation and Recreation.
